The Premier Leadership Organization for Asian American Professionals

The National Association of Asian American Professionals Wichita Chapter (NAAAP-Wichita) is a nonprofit professional organization that promotes career advancement and leadership development of members of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) professionals in all fields. Through diverse programming and greater-NAAAP resources, members can engage in activities that bring together the APIDA community in community service, professional development, and networking opportunities. NAAAP is the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in the U.S. and Canada, and the Wichita chapter is proud to bring the opportunities of NAAAP to the Air Capital of the World.

Amy Vuong

Amy Vuong


Amy is an Exchange Risk Analyst at commodities trading firm and Koch Industries, Inc. subsidiary, Koch Supply and Trading, LP.

In 2018, Amy received her Business Administration degree at Wichita State University, majoring in Economics and minoring in Business Management.

In her spare time, Amy finds enjoyment in being in the outdoors (hiking, biking, canoeing), spending time with her loved ones, building out her foodie repertoire, and reading up on productivity/efficiency advice and tricks.

Taben Azad

Taben Azad

Vice President

Taben earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and recently completed his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and is currently working as a Senior Budget Analyst with Sedgwick County.

In addition to his role with NAAAP-Wichita, he currently serves as the Vice President for the Wichita Asian Association (WAA) in the community and the Secretary for the Eta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.

Outside of his profession and community involvement, Taben enjoys playing basketball, working out, and hanging out with his two dogs Astro and Zuko (Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever).

Bryant Giang

Bryant was born and raised in Wichita, currently lives in Wichita and is a family dentist at Armfield Dentistry in Augusta, KS.

Bryant earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2019 and received his Bachelor’s of Science majoring in Chemistry from Wichita State University in 2015.

Bryant enjoys staying active by working out and playing basketball, reading and listening to books/podcasts, and hanging out with friends and family.

Stella is a Supply Chain Rotational Associate at Cargill, Inc. and is involved in several business resource groups at Cargill, such as the Asian Alliance Network and the Cargill Sustainability Network. Stella, a Wichita native, received her BBA in Economics at Wichita State University in 2019.

Tram Ngo

Tram Ngo

Director of Program Development & Engagement

Tram has been at the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce for four years and is currently the Community Advancement Manager. In this role, she is responsible for advancing the business ecosystem by developing programs focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent and Quality of Life.

Her passion is community. She is energized to activate and mobilize the Asian community in Wichita through intentional programming. 

When she is not visiting a local business or at a community event, she enjoys staying active, whipping up a tasty meal, reading, and booking the next best international flight.

Andy Kim

Andy Kim

Director of Strategic Development

Andy is from Wichita. He received a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Wichita State University. He currently works for the Greater Wichita Partnership and Downtown Wichita as Director of Multimedia.

Bach Nguyen

Membership Chair

Bach graduated from WSU with a Masters in Biological Sciences. He has an interest in scientific research and primarily focused on cancer biology during his graduate research.

Kavya Natesan

Leadership & Development Chair

Kavya is a clinical researcher and aspiring physician born and raised in Wichita, KS. She is passionate about local community engagement, improving cultural competency, and exploring local eateries!

She looks forward to her involvement with NAAAP and creating an integrative space for Asian professionals.

Sarah Myose

Sarah Myose

Culture Awareness & Special Events Chair

Sarah is a Japanese American with an Honors Baccalaureate degree in Sociology and Studio Arts from Wichita State University. They have been involved in the creation of several murals throughout Wichita, including a Keeper of the Plains and Clinton Hall Steps on Wichita State’s Campus. Sarah is involved in Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. and works at URGE: Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity as a Kansas State Organizer.

Ashley Bandasack

Ashley Bandasack

Community Service & Outreach Chair

Ashley is a tax consultant with AGH’s State and Local Tax team. Ashley provides her clients with state and local tax planning, consulting and compliance services.

Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Wichita State University. She is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and United Way Young Leaders. Ashley’s outside interests include volunteering for local non-profits, event and program coordinating.

Jordan Cao

Jordan Cao

Marketing & Public Relations Chair

A Wichita native, Jordan is an undergraduate student at Wichita State University pursuing a BS in biomedical biological sciences. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a life within medicine.

Outside of his studies, Jordan likes to keep himself busy working for a multitude of non-profit organizations whilst also prioritizing time with friends, watching NBA basketball, reading, and exercising.
